A lady called me a weasel for having her describe what she needed to know from a technician.I wonder if she came in the door planning to use that term at some point during her encounter. Now she can go tell all her friends "...and then I called him a weasel.", and thus feel smug and empowered and be the envy of all her friends. Too much TV.

Maybe all she really wanted was for you to show her the winking weasel.

My semi custom carry rig came in today. Almost 7 months to the day. Very nice but the delay was making me expect more than I realistically should. Double layer belt, mag pouch and iwb holster all of horsehide. Brass buckle and Chicago screws instead of snaps or rivets. He also oriented the mag pouch properly, with bullets pointing forward. Looks good but still miffed about the wait and customer service.

The belt is double-layer horse. The rest is single layer. Actually thinner and stiffer than cowhide.

Monday evening I received an email that my package had shipped. Two hours later, another email telling me it had been delivered. Such good customer service.

The other night on vHerf, I mentioned I was heading to the warehouse (50mi. away) to pick up 4 bags of coffee, and one of the fellas said I should make a video of my process of getting the coffee from the car to the basement. I don't have a Go-Pro to strap to my head, so this will have to do. Here are the basic steps in getting 600lbs of coffee downstairs;
Two bags in the front seat;
Two bags in the back (I've done this with 2 in the front and 3 in the back);
Slide a bag out of the car and onto the hand truck;
Push it to the back door and plop it in, onto the landing at the top of the stairs;
Slide the bag down the stairs and onto this make-shift stainless platform;
Open the burlap and dump the beans into the 33-gal. Rubbermaid Brute, which is on wheels. The green inner bag is what they call a grain-pro, basically a moisture barrier to keep the beans protected during shipment.
8min. per bag to get the beans from the carport and into the Brute. Total elapsed time strat to finish; two and a half hours, from the time I drove out of the garage, got loaded at the warehouse, to unloading at home, blowing out the car afterward, and parking it back in the garage.

If you were younger and full of caffeine you could ride the bags down the stairs.

A younger Peter threw two bags on his shoulder and carried them from the carport to the basement.
