I carved them to project force. Red Oak has points on the lobes of the leaves and White Oak the lobes are rounded.

I think they'd look good, but I'm the one that bought a mask at TJ Max and hung it on the wall, only to learn later that it creeped my family out.

Fun little project. Can hang the setup in different spots easily. Laser foul line from the backboard so I don’t have to get it in the exact same spot or have lines on the ground/floor in multiple areas. My son 3D printed the ring for the LEDs.

I loved that book. It amazed me how it progressed in a completely unexpected way in the last quarter of the
book. The evidence of the progression that took place between the Iliad and the Odyssey. I think about it whenever I'm watching some documentary about the world as it was long ago.
