I made this.

I've been scared to put anything up there because I didn't want it falling on my head. Had my uncle over last week, an old tile guy, he said just put them up it will stay.

Got a frame on this beast. 20" by 40" part of volcano series.

Have not chosen a color for the frame on this one yet.

A collage about food. In the shape of a burger.
14 -
It looked like the profile of a chubby's midsection to me.

Turned out great!

A couple of masks that I made. Red Oak Warrior and White Oak Warrior.

Fantastic, Rodger

Those are awesome Rodger!

I'd be afraid to hang them on my wall.
Imagine stumbling to the men's room, all groggy in the middle of the night, and you see it staring at you. Or, I'm on one of my ayahuasca trips, and it starts talking to me. No thanks.

They look heavy, other than that they'd go great in any man cave.
Trapped in the People's Communist Republic of Massachusetts.

I carved them to project force. Red Oak has points on the lobes of the leaves and White Oak the lobes are rounded.
5 -
Rodger you’ve got some serious skills those are amazing!
1 -
A shield to go with the masks. 22 inches across.
11 -
See what happens when Rodger stays properly caffeinated? ;-)

plus, 2-3 cups of coffee a day lowers the risk by 18% of being demented

I think they'd look good, but I'm the one that bought a mask at TJ Max and hung it on the wall, only to learn later that it creeped my family out.

A couple of collages from the Rain series.

Really nice Rodger, @First_Warrior . The top one is incredible. What are the vertical rods made of?

The rods are bamboo. I sanded them to break the glaze so the pain would stick. Thanks all for the validation.

Fun little project. Can hang the setup in different spots easily. Laser foul line from the backboard so I don’t have to get it in the exact same spot or have lines on the ground/floor in multiple areas. My son 3D printed the ring for the LEDs.

Reminds me of a book that influenced me back in the '70s, Julian Jayne's The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind

I like that one. What's it called, Rodger?

Don't have a title for it yet Shawn but it's part of the volcano series.

book. The evidence of the progression that took place between the Iliad and the Odyssey. I think about it whenever I'm watching some documentary about the world as it was long ago."If you do not read the newspapers you're uninformed. If you do read the newspapers, you're misinformed." -- Mark Twain0
