In honor of Brazil's defeat in the World Cup Quarterfinals, my son and I are sparking up my last two box-pressed CAO Brazilias--both events will end in flames. Nothing personal against Brazil. I would just like to see a different country hold up the cup this year.
had my first Cohiba last night, it was the Red Dot toro. Def will not be my last, great smoke. Enjoying a box pressed RP vintage 90 tonight while I "season" my new grill
well so far had a perdomopatriarch lonsdale conn in the a.m. then a corona corojo, still got a gurkha micro batch boxpress lonsdale for later can't wait
Had a GOF 2006 Piramide Carlito tonight with about 11 months on it....I usually smoke my sticks at a pretty good pace and these guys really sneak up on you in the 2nd 3rd....amazing stick...
I couldn't make the so cal herf today so I decided to burn a few sticks while I did a mountain of homework. I was looking for something that was good, but not so good that it would distract me. I opened up this months cotm and started with the La Estrella de Cubana Oscuro. Pretty good flavor and aroma. Unfortunately it blew up on me and I only got about 2 inches in before it totally came apart on me. Then I went for the La Aurora Cameroon Churchill from last month. Plugged....I'm getting pissed at this point. Then I tried out the CAO Cameroon from this month...Perfect. Tasty little smoke that was exactly what I wanted. In addition to the regular Cameroon flavor I got some white pepper occasionally. Nice, enjoyable smoke. Later in the day after all was done I lit up an Oliva V torp paired with some Milagro. Great way to finish off a busy day. Wish I could have made the herf, but I made the best of it. Not I tired and a little drunk so off to bed.

New to smoking and thought I would be in for a harsh smoke. Surprisingly good, not a harsh taste at all. Another one of my favorites to date
