^^ I wanna see pics of your finished porch.
Getting there. I still have to do a lot of staining and trim work.
Trying to figure out what to use as moulding.
Then the flooring, which may take a while, cause everything has gone way up in price around here.
It would be awful small and a ton of tiny work.
Not sure my eyes could do that kind of detail. LOL!
Working on a stand for @WaterNerd now, so once I get that done, I may tackle getting a driver made up.
In Fumo Pax Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy cigars and that's close enough.
So my grandson is turning 7 and for the last couple years everything is about America and the military. He has a flag above his bed so thought he might like this to keep him warm at night.
Was working on some 3d print stuff and discovered a way to print in multiple colors using our existing printer.
Decided to print something iconic to my home town.
Re-made the truck service body to look more like my truck.

I had some help on this one. Runs 20 miles to the east.
Another 20 miles to the west. Last panels will go up this week so my work in Yuma is finished, came home yesterday. Would have a cigar but have to be in Sasabe this morning.
Trying a humidor tray. Gonna print it out, see how it does. Might have to seal it with acrylic enamel. Not sure.
Start of the first test. Went a little small, about 6.5"x6.5"x3".

I would love to do wood trays, but I am no carpenter and spanish cedar is expensive when you make a lot of mistakes.
So, if these do ok, I can organize my disaster of a humidor tower and possibly be able to find stuff in it.
The problem with printed plastic, is that it is brittle, unless you go with other filament that requires special settings and setting up the hot end.
Not a big deal, just a pain to swap things around.
And the only strong filament I have is neon green for AR sights. LOL!

Recently started working with water buffalo leather. I don't usually work with oil-tanned leather but this Crazy Horse finish got me hooked. Below is cigar pouch and a sheath for the petite Les Fines Lames knife/cutter
Small test print came out pretty good.
The one I downloaded was pretty bad, so I had to re-make the file from scratch, but I think it came out good. Now to make it a size that works better.
Problem is, bigger takes more print time.

You can't even see the lines or the little numbers that tell you what color to use.
Well I find if you put enough paint on you can't see them!!!
Still have more things to add to it, but for the most part, fairly finished.

Working on a new model.
I have to figure out how to get it to print with supports that will come out clean.
But once I do, it should look pretty cool.
