I guess they slipped in a vaping shipping ban into this stimulus bill somehow. I suspect this tactic will be used on cigars eventually.

And now it’s really getting underway. Politicians really do know what’s best for everyone. Buckle up folks our decision making ability is coming to an end sooner than later.

What will we do without our menthol cigars? How will we inhale?

Stock up on your Kuba Kubas now. I read it to mean all flavored cigars so that would be acids, upsetters, Java.

It says mass produced and I don't think that those acids fall under that category

Are they differentiating between infused and flavored?

If I can’t get a grape flavored “cigar wrapper” from the gas station then what will I roll my blunt with?

Funny thing is that they finally figured out that 90% of them aren't actually smoked and now they sell the wrappers only. No filler, straight wrapper. I have always wondered just what the blunt contribution percentage of sales on these actually make up.

I know a few people who will be upset with this when it's eventually implemented. Oh well, back to Garcia Vegas and Phillies I guess 🤪 lol. Maybe they can dip it grape kool-aid like many used to do with cognac. 😆

They should take a look at @webmost video for tips on rolling.....

On the subject at hand....The only phrase that comes to my mind is "Slippery Slope". Once theses type of things start happening, it only gets worst....Especially when it comes to "Evil Tobacco", an easy target.

Alright alright, let's keep the political radicalism contained to the other thread, please!

I read the halfwheel article. It just means we keep waiting (they're not going to enforce anything new or change anything for premium cigars for now) until they make a decision whether or not to regulate premium cigars differently. Still got that same old threat looming, right?

After they're done going after guns they will go after premiums.

They are going after everything, and anything "they" deem "bad". This is what scares me.

The good thing is a lot of the elites who make the rules and their powerful backers, smoke cigars. Can usually get a few together to carve out an exemption. Not a lot of poor people smoking premium cigars so they will face the least pressure. But yeah, eventually will come.

The state by state attacks are more worrisome. California just raised taxes agian (on retail sales at b&m) and other states have the excise tax even on internet purchases. Two states ban internet sales altogether IIRC. Further yet, some ban smaller cigars, even PA has some restrictions and they sell a great deal of cigars.

They can make them too expensive and cut off online sales. It would be essentially a backdoor cut-off. Sure some would still buy at the inflated prices but it would slow sales considerably. Some b&m stores champion these types of changes as well.
