    So, tell me again, please, how do I get to the part of my profile where I can modify my list of favorite cigars?

    Ive clicked on 'my profile' and 'edit profile' but neither produces the desired results. You'd think the 'computer gurus' (read Krebsie?) would want there to be EASY ACCESS to such an important topic, would t ya??

    Anyway, thanks in advance for some more 'oldfart guidance'. It's appreciated....  B)

    Can't help with this one! When I went into edit profile, it appeared to let me change it if I wanted. I didn't actually change it though. Sorry.

    I went into profile, hit edit profile, tapped "favorite cigar", added what I wanted, tapped save, and it was there. So it worked for me. Not sure why it won't work for you!

    Wouldn't ya just KNOW it, Charlie?  I tell ya, the darned thing just don't like me. I tried 'edit profile' a number of times and it didn't do anything. So then, you come along and, VOILA, it works. I guess we're just gonna have to set you up on some sort of retainer plan if you're gonna keep bailing me out with this computer stuff...  :p.

    Okay, here's one for ya - how do I go about editing the "my favorite cigars" portion of my profile when it only allows me one line in which to enter text. 

    Once its entered, it all appears in my profile but editing more than the first line appears to be impossible.

    That is a problem I have also noticed. What I did was deleted the whole thing and started over

    Yo, Krebsie. Long time no see. 

    Ive gotta question for ya. What the heck does it take for me to activate the edit function when I want to edit a post within the one hour I'm supposed to have in which to do that??

    ive tapped, thumped, and cussed but I can only get it to work about once in 50 posts I'd like to edit. I've tried tapping, etc, in various places on the page. There doesn't seem to be any constant that I can find. So, what's the secret?  This may be a small item but it can be infuriating at times....

    Also, zooming in on the gear icon seems to help on my iPhone when it's hard to bring up the edit option.

    Thankya kindly, @Yakster, I appreciate your input. I thought the gear symbol was supposed to do it but, like I said, I tapped all over in that area with not much success. 

    Of course, dumb ol' me, I didn't think to try enlarging (zooming in) the symbol. I'll give that a try the next time I feel the need to edit a post. It might just work.

    Voila!!  It works!  This line was added via an edit using the enlarged gear symbol. Youze iz a genius, Bro....

    Okay, here's a new question. Why is it that the keyboard doesn't function (when used on the forum) the same way as it functions when being used, say, to type an email or to type anything anywhere other than on the forum??

    anywhere else, for example, when one switches from alpha to numeric to enter a number or a special character, once you've entered that number and hit the space bar you're automatically brought back to alpha. On the forum, once you've entered the number or special character and then the space bar it doesn't take you back to alpha. 

    Has anyone else noticed that?

    Also, when you hit the space bar twice to end a sentence and insert a period (on the forum) the keyboard doesn't automatically switch to upper case to begin the next sentence. It does when you're anywhere other than the forum, though. 

    How about it, Mr. Krebs?  Can you help out, here?
