Thanks everybody and keep at it @Edna20 it will come. Burn more calories than you intake and you will lose weight from what I am told.
@cbuck it is about 90% gone. I am letting the kids finish it up at this point. I might steal a little spoonful of it here and there but I got to eat a good chunk of that tub before I had to make this change.

I'm stuck at a 75 pound loss for the past week or so. Joined the gym Friday and found out that I am really weak! I haven't lifted in 5 years and man, it really shows. But I feel it will help with the weight loss. I still have about 45 pounds to go.
Yeah I have noticed actually since I have started lifting that my wight loss has tapered a bit but obviously muscle weighs more than fat so I'm guessing that is why.

Today I started my weight lifting regiment. The gym I joined offers free trainers which is pretty nice. Its 4 days of lifting a week Chest/Triceps, Back/Biceps, Shoulders/Abs, Legs. Cardio each of those days besides legs day and then the other 1 or 2 days a week of no lifting is straight cardio.
My arms feel like jello today.

Doing great!!! Finally seeing some changes in numbers. Been doing a detox and eating all whole foods, though I did cheat at lunch today because my stomach was hurting, thought maybe just hungry, and I was giving a presentation after lunch.
If your arms are feeling like Jello, have you tried foam rolling after lifting? Presses the lactic acid out and feels like you didn't even work out after
foam rolling? Never heard of it. I have increased the amount of protein I am taking in a day and it is helping them recover. I also went feet first in with lifting as I don't really know any other way. So I am pushing myself pretty hard there.

Crap I need to gain weight!! On average I walk 3 miles a day carrying heavy stuff and climb 17 floors. As soon as I stopped soda I dropped 20lbs. But I also sweat a ton in the heat so I'm mostly water weight
Just drank my pre workout Assault...... Watching the dragon burn........ Hulk Smash!!!!
Woo hoo, this stuff is great! I should drink this all day every day! Time to sling iron. Happy Saturday yall!
Best pre workout I ever used was Muscle Spike. There would be days I could hardly stay awake and take this and be able to workout 2 hours. It was awesome. I'm trying some new stuff that is flavored like those bomb pop popsicles and it is Deeeelicious
Love reading all the success stories in here. Keep it everyone! Seeing results is the best way to stay motivated but always remember it does take time and never give up!
I guess I'll share my workout story. I've always been a smaller guy and could never keep weight on and still have some trouble to this day. People always give me crap when I talk about it but it's just as frustrating for me as it is for those trying to lose weight. About 7 years ago I was home for the summer and all I did was work, eat and go to the gym for 2 hours everyday. Eating was the hardest part as I felt like I was going to explode some days. But after the summer I had gone from 130 to 150 lbs and people at school thought I was taking steroids since I was no longer a stick. Currently I stay right around 150. I haven't been a heavy weight lifter in a while as I don't have a gym membership but I have some dumbbells at home and do a lot of body weight lifts like push-ups and pull-ups. Eventually I'll get more equipment for at home and start lifting more. My diet isn't as good as what it was but I try to stay away from junk food as much as I can.
All of a suddenly I ditched ten pounds. Same exercise regimen as always. Yoga Tuesdays and Thursdays; handball Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. No idea how I shed.
BTW: just recently started taking a glucosamine/chondroitin combo -- house brand from CVS. Took the soreness out of my bum knee IMMEDIATELY. Man, that stuff works. Seems like you gotta take it at least twice a day, tho. Doesn't affect old man shoulders nor mold man ankles nor old man knuckles -- but dynamite for old man knees. Really improved my wheels in the handball court. Dropped a couple first time at breakfast, and by that same evening I was scrambling all over the court. If you have the old duffer knees, I highly recommend this stuff.

Day 5 of P90X3. They are only 30 minute workouts, but man oh man, I am sore as heII LOL. And I can't do their yoga workout to save my life. That will be the biggest challenge of all. Hulk not do yoga!!
How do you like my profile pic Taborski? @matkn293
I've changed my diet-- no carbs including alcohol and am trying to walk more. I just found a gym with pool and signed up my wife and I for a 2 week trial. When I stopped the beer, I lost 11 lbs in 2 days.. lol. I'm down 2 pants sizes. Still plugging away..
Very nice Jim. I'm getting close to dropping a pants size. Down 27 those morning, 3 more until I hit my first goal of 30 which puts me under 300. I can't believe I let myself go but things be a changin.
