Well the pattern has been the third Saturday of the month. We collectively picked a cocktail, practiced making it for a month or week or a few days and then drank them during our vherf that chosen Saturday. We have done martinis, old fashioned, and white Russian covering gin, bourbon and vodka. I'd like to hit some new alcohols before returning to these so I was thinking rum or tequila this month. Got any good suggestions for drinks containing those?
All I can think of is a Cuba libre or maybe some blended island drink that comes with a fruit slice and little umbrella (blue Hawaiian, banana mama, pina colada, or something like that) or margaritas. I'm not well versed in cocktails
Mojito sounds alright to me but it's been shot down by others before. Something about a dislike of mint. The mule sounds like it might kill me with that heat. The cocktails would also ideally pair nicely with our smokes so I think that Mexican mule may have the edge
I am liking the tequila sunrise best so far. Everything it calls for is something I've seen locally and it's easy to make. And the orange juice might help me keep my clothes on.

Sounds good, any of them.
Maybe one of the sunrises, or the martini...
