Even though I've been smelling it for the last eight hours, somehow I forgot I had a roast in the slow cooker. Eating good after four hours on the vherf.

lol, a bee decided to take a swim in the cup of coffee i left out for a bit. Glad I was outside or half the room would be covered with latte.
Many moons ago I had that happen when I walked away from a can of beer to help a friend...it got me on the inside of my lip...
It was very cloudy last night, with only one opening in the cover. Right in the center was the fullest moon I've ever seen. I stared at it for a full minute, then looked at my hands and thought "Nope. Still not a werewolf."

My friend and employee, Mother Bear, just made the front page of the Washington Post:
This tribe helped the Pilgrims survive for their first Thanksgiving. They still regret it 400 years later.
Long marginalized and misrepresented in U.S. history, the Wampanoags are bracing for the 400th anniversary of the first Pilgrim Thanksgiving in 1621
Lucy and I, both 75, went to our small family owned pharmacy in town and got the Moderna booster today. Got a flue shot at the VA in Asheville last week.

I forgot to put the coffee grounds in the coffee maker this morning so my Wife poured herself a cup of hot water right before she had to leave.
Took me a minute to figure out what I did wrong.
I'm thinking there's a high likelihood she'll explain it to you later.
And later.
And later still.

The ski area will probably have a for sale board & run ski swaps. Look on their webpage. All the online marketplace sites are a good start too.
Yeah we had a big swap planned for November they always do and they decided not to because of the dreaded covid
a bee stung my tongue.
Stop taunting them
Another reason to keep your mouth shut.
Don't let the wife know what you spend on guns, ammo or cigars.

Just received a Pfizer booster shot and a high dose quadrivalent flu shot.
I just got my tetanus, flu, and the first shot for shingles. I'll get the Covid Booster next.
Got my shots too. They were all whiskey, but hey.....why quibble over semantics.
