Was giving the boat engine a look over before the first start of the year last evening and the lake trip planned for today. Found the engine cooling water inlet strainer cracked. It came out in pieces. Would have filled the boat with water in a couple minutes if I’d not seen it. Cant’t get a replacement till tomorrow….
I'm still troubled by what I did for that Klondike bar...
Dropped the batteries into my boat. The fun started when I connected the last negative lead and let all the smoke out of the gage cluster up front. Melted down the harness behind the panel. Gonna be nine kinds of joy trying to rewire this thing without a schematic.
