Had to have a very large cherry tree dropped, going to split the smaller loga for firewood and mill the bigger logs for mantle shelves over a couple of fireplaces. Getting my strength back slowly and actually looking forward to the exercise.

Ouch. Had something like that happen to me, could barely walk for a few days. Hit my joints really hard.

A new roof is going up on my carport. You'll notice that's not me up there tearing off the old plywood. LOL. It started leaking at last year's herf, so to be a good host I thought I would get it taken care of before the lads show up this year.
Laid down for a quick nap after work yesterday at 4:45 pm. Fell asleep around 7 and woke up this morning at 8:45. I feel bad that I didn't cook dinner for my son.

A lady from down my block was walking her new-to-me toddler. I forget her name all the time, but her husband I know better because he's an occasional cigar smoker and worked in the operating room as a surgery assistant the day I had my intestine surgery a couple of years back. His name is David and he's a very good guy. So I went to the sidewalk to say hi to the misses and meet the new kiddo. I asked what his name was and she replied Kelvin. I said, well that's kind of cold. And she gave me this puzzle look and I walked away. Kelvin. Who names their kid Kelvin? That's cold.
Finished up ok, B in Pre-cal, 4 more classes to transfer to ECU for engineering management. My oldest will be transferring to Ap State at the same time, hopefully the wife is finished then and not going back for anything else after her MRI cert.

Won’t see ‘em again till August.
Repairing the switch on my Zoller sump pump. Good to see a product designed for easy repair instead of toss-and-replace.

Cherry makes a great smoke for chicken, at least for me.

Went fishing this morning, first time in twenty years. Only caught a couple tree branches but got a couple fish sandwiches when we got back to town.
I can tell I slept a LOT yesterday. All I had to drink was one pot of coffee and nothing else.

leave it to a dyed in the wool curmudgeon to not explain why that was intended to be funny, lol.
I mostly agree with your assessment, but to prove myself redeemable, here's this;
Absolute zero is 0 K, or zero degrees Kelvin.

I also saw a Red Breasted Grosbeak the other day.
The Cardinal that has been in the area every morning, calling for a mate, also stopped by.
A Hairy Woodpecker also made a brief visit, but he flew away before I got my camera out.
