Hey... that takes the aestheticism right out of it. Turns it into what looks like a made up word for a patented drug.
Nope. Since it can be spelt either way, I like it better the first way.

Suede shoes (mine weren’t blue, they were a beautiful doeskin grey and they went wonderfully well with my hunter-green pegged slacks, pegged to “a tight 16”...)The slacks had a rise a bit higher than normal and ‘tunnel loops’ instead of belt loops. The higher rise was a carryover (I think) from the zoot suits.
